The colors for the app were chosen to reflect the tones you would find on a hike. All the vast shades of green narrowed down to a light, calming shade and a deep forrest green. Add a dash of tan for a nice earthy contrast. The icons were developed to follow the mountains found on the app homepage. Edgy with a bit of a curve. Lastly, the topographic elements are added for the purpose of expanding the brand beyond the app. The elements usage is to include advertising, stationary, apparel and products.
